OUR Story
MVM LLC wasn’t created by corporate investors or constructed out of a distant franchise office. It was built from the ground up right here in Kernersville, North Carolina, operating out of 2825 Bethel Church Road. It started with a pickup truck, basic tools, a couple of ladders, and a commitment to doing honest work for local homeowners.
Small local repairs & trim work off Bethel Church Rd.
Specializing in smooth drywall, cabinet painting & exterior work.
Complete remodels, framing, concrete, tile & roofing.
When we first started out, we saw a recurring problem across the Triad construction industry. Homeowners were constantly dealing with contractors who would show up late, leave dust and debris all over living rooms, inflate prices mid-project, or simply vanish when a job got difficult. We set out to build a company that did the exact opposite: show up on time, communicate clearly, treat every home with total respect, and deliver trade craftsmanship that holds up over time.
“Back when we were building our name across Forsyth County, we got a call to look at a small historic cottage off Bethania Road. The owner was a widow whose family had lived in that house for three generations. A previous handyman had promised to repair a rotting back porch and fix sagging drywall in her living room, but after taking a deposit, he abandoned the job half-finished, leaving her living room open to the elements with rain leaking through exposed exterior framing.
It was late October, and temperatures were dropping fast. We brought our team out that same afternoon. We didn’t just patch the porch—we completely re-framed the exterior support posts with pressure-treated lumber, rebuilt the floor structure, sheathed the walls, installed weather-barrier flashing, and sealed off the exterior. Then we moved inside, removed the ruined plaster, sistered fresh studs onto the old hand-hewn joists, hung water-resistant sheetrock, and hand-sanded three coats of joint compound until the living room walls were perfectly straight and smooth.
We painted the interior with a warm, clean finish and restored her original wood trim by hand. When we wrapped up, she tried to pay us extra for staying late into the night. We refused the extra money, telling her that doing the job right was part of our standard service. That project reaffirmed our core mission: we build trust through hard work, direct honesty, and uncompromising craftsmanship.”
What We Stand For
At MVM LLC, every tradesman on our crew operates according to four simple, non-negotiable principles:
Complete dust containment, floor protection, and daily jobsite cleanup.
Smooth drywall feathering, sharp paint edges, and laser-level tile lines.
1-hour callbacks, honest timeline updates, and direct answers.
We use high-durability materials and never skip structural prep steps.
Your house is your family’s space, not a chaotic construction zone. When MVM LLC arrives at a job in Clemmons, Lewisville, or Oak Ridge, our first priority is protecting your home’s existing surfaces. We cover finished floors with heavy protective Rosin paper, mask furniture with durable plastic sheeting, set up zip-wall containment barriers on interior remodeling projects, and sweep up our work areas before leaving every day.
To us, the difference between an average job and an exceptional job lies in the final 5% of detail work:
Communication breaks down far too often in residential contracting. We combat this by guaranteeing a 1-hour response time whenever you call or text us at 336-703-1208. If weather delays an exterior painting job in Walkertown, or if custom tile delivery takes an extra day for a bathroom remodel in Bermuda Run, you will know immediately. No guessing games, no unreturned messages.
Our People
A contracting company is only as good as the tradesmen on the job site. MVM LLC brings together experienced specialists across multiple disciplines:
Veterans who can look at any lighting angle on a wall and know precisely how to mud, tape, feather, and sand the surface to achieve a Level 5 smooth finish.
Trade professionals who understand paint chemistry—knowing when to use stain-blocking alkyd primers, elastomeric masonry coatings, or scrub-resistant interior latex enamels.
Craftsmen who take pride in structural precision—whether it’s installing support beams during wall removals or placing delicate crown molding around historic ceilings.
Hardworking builders who specialize in concrete, tile waterproofing systems, crawlspace repair, and roof leak patching.
DEEP LOCAL EXPERIENCE
Our hands-on experience spans every architectural style found across Forsyth, Guilford, and Stokes counties. Take a look at how our trades come together on a complex job site:
1930s craftsman home with cracked plaster walls, water-damaged ceilings, rotted exterior window casings, and a sagging bathroom subfloor.
Re-braced floor joists in the crawlspace using heavy steel jack posts; leveled the bathroom floor to prepare for modern porcelain tile.
Removed compromised plaster, installed moisture-resistant greenboard sheetrock, mudded smooth seams, primed with shellac stain-blocker, applied satin paint.
Milled custom exterior pine trim to match historic profile, treated with rot-inhibitor, sealed with high-grade exterior caulk, hand-painted trim enamel.
When the restoration was completed, the historic home retained all its original character, backed by structural stability, smooth walls, and durable paint protection built to last for decades.
