“We were brought in to update a 1920s craftsman home in Ardmore. The homeowner wanted to add bold board-and-batten wainscoting up six feet along her main entryway wall and install deep multi-piece crown molding throughout the living room. Because the original lathe-and-plaster walls had settled slightly out of square over ninety years, standard off-the-shelf trim installation would have looked uneven.

Our carpenters scribed every trim board by hand to follow the natural contours of the plaster walls, coped inside crown corner joints instead of miter-cutting them for a gap-free fit, and used hidden fasteners. We filled every nail hole, hand-sanded the wood, applied oil primer, and painted the trim with two coats of semi-gloss white enamel. The entry hall looked like an architectural showcase feature, retaining historic warmth while adding clean structural polish.”
