“We recently transformed a dark 1980s kitchen for a client in Cinnamon Ridge. The original kitchen was shut off from the dining room by an awkward partition wall, featured peeled vinyl flooring, and had severely water-damaged subflooring under the kitchen sink.

We stripped the space to the studs, removed the partition wall, and installed a laminated veneer lumber (LVL) support beam to maintain open-concept structural strength. We replaced the damaged subfloor timber, installed 12×24 inch porcelain tile across the unified floor plan, built out a spacious central island, installed pristine shaker cabinets, and tiled a subway backsplash with custom accent lighting. We finished the space with smooth Level 5 drywall finishing and a rich coat of scrubbable interior paint. The entire main floor was transformed from a cramped space into a light-filled living area.”
